"Students have been learning about the solar system, shadows, the moon, and sun. This Apollo Truck was great for them in so many ways. They had so much prior knowledge of the solar system which helped them thoroughly enjoy the trunk and all that it contained. They had so much fun with the hands-on activity and Megan was great!" "Students work cooperatively in collaborative groups. Students analyzed varied technology and its impact on the soldiers and civilians of WWI. Students recorded data, made hypotheses, and supported their guesses. Students practiced active listening and participating in discussions as a quality audience." "This was a great way to introduce different forms of communication!" "The students were so engaged the whole time and having a blast. The traveling trunks met our nonfiction unit curriculum along with social studies/science standards. Students got to participate in hands on learning and STEAM activities." |
