Membership Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I become a member of NHTM? What’s the benefit to me?
We know that you are asked to support a variety of organizations and being asked for money gets tiresome, so we make it a priority to offer you the best value for your dollar. We are committed to including member perks that matter to you and we are continually searching for products and ideas that bring you joy, while remaining dedicated to building a museum that also makes you proud.

Why are there price ranges for membership levels rather than fixed dues?
We are pleased to offer price ranges so that our members have more flexibility in choosing their level of support. One size does not fit all and we want to offer the best membership plan for you, your family and your organization. Each membership offers a variety of benefits. Please review the benefit list above and select the membership you feel offers you the most value.
All membership dues are fully tax-deductible and directly support the Museum's mission and educational efforts.

Do guest passes expire?
Complimentary guest passes expire one year from date of issue. The expiration date can be found on the back of each pass. Purchased guest passes do not expire. Purchase several guest-passes for a unique and thoughtful thank you or keep a few on hand to slip inside a birthday card.

What is the NARM; North American Reciprocal Museum Association?

  • ·       Peabody Essex Museum

  • ·       New Bedford Whaling Museum
  • ·       Worcester Art Museum
  • ·       Norman Rockwell Museum
  • ·       Hancock Shaker Village
  • ·      Currier Museum of Art

See the complete list of participating institutions on NARM’s website at www.narmassociation.org.

Can I automatically renew my membership?
Not yet…but soon! Setting your membership to automatically renew is an easy and convenient way to stay connected and not have any interruption to your membership benefits.  It also provides the Museum with reliable, ongoing support so that we can dedicate more of our efforts directly toward programs and activities that you are interested in. Automatic renewal also saves you time and hassle and reduces the Museum’s fundraising costs and environmental impact.

We’ll keep you updated on when this service to you will be available.

Can I buy a gift membership for someone else?
Absolutely! A gift of a New Hampshire Telephone Museum membership is a present that lasts all year long. A membership at any level is a perfect gift for a new neighbor, a colleague, client, family member or friends. Buy a gift membership now.

How can I get replacement membership cards?
Call (603) 456-2234 or email info@NHTelephoneMuseum.org with your name and address. Replacement membership cards will be sent within 2 weeks.

How do I contact the museum’s membership staff?
